REQUEST
Lighting for the Dutch Reformed Church
Illuminate the Dutch Reformed Church. Reinforce the vision for the redesign of the Dorpsstraat and the connection of the ‘Woven Ribbon’ squares within the lighting design.
RESULT
Visibility
We’ve increased the light level of the church’s lighting to make the church more visible.
Accentuating the slate roof on the tower with light reinforces the tower as a landmark.
Image and identity
The church is illuminated in such a way that both its typical style and its central function in the Dorpsstraat are subtly enhanced.
The modest use of light colors (warm white, neutral white and cool white) ensures that the lighting design fits in well with the ‘Woven Ribbon’ vision and accentuates the stately village character.
Sustainability
All lighting designs are made with LED. LED has a long lifespan and low energy consumption..
